Beijing, China and Indianapolis, USA - On November 16, 2015, Beijing Nutrichem Jiahe Biotechnology Co., Ltd. ("Nutrichem Bio") announced the acquisition of global ethoxylate from Dow AgroSciences LLC Fluorofluorfen business. Nutrichem Bio is a leading agrochemical supplier in China, and Dow AgroSciences is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dow Chemical (NYSE: Dow). The assets acquired by Nutrichem Bio include the registration, trademark, production technology and registration data of related products in the global market of oxyfluorfen technical and branded preparations such as Gore and other intellectual property rights. Dow AgroSciences will be authorized to continue to sell oxyfluorfen-related preparation brand products, which are exclusively produced and supplied by Nutrichem Biological.

Oxyfluorfen is an efficient selective pre-emergence or post-emergence broad-spectrum herbicide to control a variety of weeds. Through this acquisition, Nutrichem Bio is conducive to the production of existing technical drugs, and further expands and enriches its own product portfolio. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2015, and the content of the agreement and transaction amount will not be disclosed in an announcement.
