In the first half of 2014, 12 projects with an annual output of 200 tons of imazapyr and 500 tons of metazone in Yancheng South passed the completion acceptance of the city and county safety supervision departments and obtained the "Safety Production License" issued by the provincial bureau. The project with an annual output of 1,200 tons of clethodim has also successfully passed the trial production approval of the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau and the Municipal Safety Supervision Bureau.

On December 4th, Yancheng Environmental Protection Bureau, together with relevant departments of Xiangshui County Environmental Protection Bureau, conducted eight projects with an annual output of 200 tons of imazapyr, 500 tons of fenoxazone, and 300 tons of flufenox in the south plant; Tons of bentazon and the four projects of thiazide, thiocarbamate synthesis, and hydrogenation workshops that are supporting mezatrione and flufenoxol in the southern plant area during the same period have carried out data and on-site verification. He reviewed the "three wastes" treatment facilities built by Yancheng South for this batch of projects, put forward suggestions for improvement, and finally agreed that the batch of 14 projects passed the environmental protection trial production approval.

The compliance of this batch of projects has laid a solid foundation for the development of the South, North and South factories in Yancheng.
