Upstream News Chongqing Commercial Daily reporter learned that on January 25, China Post opened a green channel urgently, obliged to provide the delivery service for epidemic prevention and relief materials in Wuhan, and donated materials sent across the country to the Red Cross organizations designated by the Wuhan Municipal Government. On January 26, Huabang Pharmaceutical, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chongqing listed Huapont Life Sciences Co., Ltd, located in Yubei District, Chongqing, contacted Yubei Post to deliver a batch of emergency medicines to the front line of the epidemic area. On January 27, at 15:32, Zhang Yu and Yu Yongsheng, drivers of the Chongqing Post District Central Bureau, waved goodbye to their colleagues, and drove a 12-ton van full of relief supplies to Wuhan. The car loaded with 270 pieces (300 boxes/piece) weighing 2,042 kilograms of methylprednisolone sodium succinate for injection, which is the medicine urgently needed for the treatment of severe pneumonia patients.

Previously, the Central Bureau of Chongqing Postal District had deployed ahead of schedule and issued a letter of proposal to the staff of the transportation center to set up a "Chongqing-Wuhan Epidemic Prevention and Relief Materials Transportation Commando". In less than a day, more than 140 drivers, team leaders and managers volunteered to sign up and voluntarily went to Wuhan Post Road to contribute to the fight against the epidemic. Zhang Yu and Yu Yongsheng became the first batch of drivers due to their young strength and excellent skills. For the first battle, the Central Bureau of the postal district prepared masks, thermometers, disinfectants and other necessary protective equipment for the two, as well as emergency food such as instant noodles, instant rice, eight-treasure porridge, milk, and mineral water.
